At least,
we had been planning to go since last summer.
Yesterday we went to the International Doll & Teddybear Fair as the folder said the biggest in whole Europe! It was I have to admit quite amazing. I've never seen so much Teddybears and dolls together ever.
Personally I came for the BJD selection (which was small but satisfying) and my mother for the bears (who where way too expensive).
I've seen on my way quite some interesting things, from dolly doctors to creepy newborns (those are you average dead baby dolls, I swear they look dead.)
They look quite innocent now,
but wait until you see one in a womans arms walking around with such a thing as if it's a real un/newborn baby.
These are the beautiful eyes of German stand. They made these eyes themselves all blown of glass I was most Impressed.
Except for the BJD stand this was my very favorite, these stuffed animal looked so Victorian, reminding me of Emilie Autumn, that I had to love them. These beauties are made by Madame Marijke van Ooijen.
I really love these rats if they hadn't been so expensive I'd buy one.
These are some of the other things I saw.
In the end I only bought lace, painting supplies and glasses eyes.
I'll show the result of my eyes on my Okita some time soon.
- Antique monster over and out.
