This is one of those series I bought without knowing what I'd get. It's a BBC series and has six episodes. I think one of the things I really like about this series is also a bit the tricky part, Desperate romantics is about the Pre-raphaelite brotherhood: I'll be honest I don't know everything about them .. but I know a lot and I really dislike it when the facts are off.
So as I feared the facts are not really in it they dramatized it, but even so I feel like it's worth my while. I'm actually getting fond of the characters. The main characters;

John Everette Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William "Maniac" Holman Hunt, and the story teller Fred are our Pre-raphaelite brotherhood. (The truth is Fred is a combination of four people, they do this more often I guess to make the story a bit less complicated).
Yesterday I watched the forth episode and I like it a lot. One of the things I really like about the series are all the side characters who we all know of that era such as Dickens and Ruskin.
